Liam Is All Smiles

Oh man look at this face who could resist it. You are just so damn cute!
Finally got good photos of Liam smiling and these are real smiles not the wind smiles that I've been getting.

One milestone passed!

These photos below aren't smiling but he is just so cute in them I couldn't leave them out of the blog.

Liam and Taj

Taj always wants cuddles whenever I am cuddling Liam.
Last night we actually got photos of it.
Taj is slowly getting used to Liam being around.
I think he knows that this little human isn't going anywhere.

The dummy ruins the photos but Liam was a bit unsettled so only managed to get one good photo without it before he got too upset.

New Photos of Liam

Well while I'm here I may aswell put some new photos up of Liam. Also a little update on the little guy too.

Liam is now 8 weeks old! He weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces and is 48cms long. He is putting on the weight ok but he isn't getting any taller. But with parents that aren't exactly towering over anyone its not a real surprise.
He has started smiling for real not often cause some are still wind smiles.
When he has his dummy those funny noises the oi oi sounding ones are getting louder and in different tones as if he is trying to tell us a story. He even looks at you very intently when he is doing it as if he is actually saying words and we really need to listen. I so have to get these noises on video cause it is so cute.
His hair is getting a bit longer on the sides but doesn't want to grow much on top its still very dark. No matter how much Aunty Emma keeps trying to tell me he has red hair or it is changing into red.

He has had two sleepovers at Nan and Pop's house. Two Friday's in a row. They even took him out to the shops for morning tea and then over to Uncle George's place for afternoon tea on the following Saturday.

The first photo is my favourite as he is pulling what I affectionately call 'Old Man Monkey Face' (cause he looks like a cross between an old man and a monkey). He does this face often but for some reason it is very hard to capture on camera.

But I'm still a cutie:

Look What I Made...

I have been wanting to do something creative this weekend so that the long weekend was not a complete waste of time. So I thought I will make a clutch I saw on the Martha Stewart website ages ago. I even brought the purse clasp back in October 2010 as I wanted to make some as gifts for Christmas but never got around to it.
So Friday I went down to spotlight and got all the fabric stabiliser and stuff I needed. I already had the material. Brought previously out of the remnants box at spotlight not sure when but probably some time last year. I will admit I do just buy random bits of fabric I like out of those boxes cause one day I might just use it. So finally one of those pieces did actually get used!

I did start this project on Sunday and have only just completed it this afternoon. If I had no interruptions then from start to finish it might of only taken me 2 hours tops to make.

So here it is my finished clutch:-

I'm pretty proud of my first effort. Not sure what I will do with it. If anyone likes it I'm happy to sell it to them for $25. Or if you'd like one in a different colour I can do that too.
